Pale yellow. Rich oaky nose. Very mineral and lime-flavoured. Again, quite dense. Vscous in the mouth. Starting to taste a little richer after 10 mins or so. Seems younger than the wine this is paired with. 3.

Quite a muted nose, slughtly honeyed. Steely mineral backbone on the palate. Good length but quite tight and linear at the moment. 3.

Ever so slightly more lifted, floral nose. More open on the palate. Mineral, some flowers. Somehow a little broader but without distinctly identifiable flavours. Most floral and open of this flight. 4-

Slightly more expressive nose, still clean and ungiving though. A bit more rounded on the finish but still needs time. 4

Tight, quite closed, unexpressive nose, then honey and mineral. Mineral, chalky, some fruit and a bit more expressive than the others. 4-

Oyster, iodine, honey, more rounded, still quite clean but a little less focused and linear. Honeyed and slightly oaky. Slightly darker colour than the 99 1er crus. Good but now mature. 3.

Mid straw colour, slightly honeyed, flour. Some oyster. Toasty oak. Weighty and rich textured, honeyed finish. Not very complex. Short. Grand cru weight and texture but not flavour or length. 4-

Seaweedy. iodine, fruit crumble, clove, apple, hmm, sherry in fact. Rounded, honeyed, soft, slightly flabby and pox-ridden. 3- just but really just flawed.

Rhubard and custard sweet nose, ten floral. Confected. Floral, honeysuckle. Flour, GC weight but lacks depth and length. Suspect this isthe vinage coming through. 3-

Mineral, some oyster, quite clean. Rounded, quite rich, mineral and chalk on the finish. Nice but lacking some typicity? 3

Richer, more buttery, some oak evident, then minerally. Good length and typicity. 3+

More complex, younger tasting, more to give. Nice mineraly style with lighter floral elements starting to come though. 4.

Mid yellow to pale gold. Quite flowery nose, some mineral. Quite simple but god. Holding up well but certainly time to finish off any remaining bottles.
