We all had to bring a wine of the theme. We did not know which wines were brought. All wines were poured fully blind, also not knowing when your own wine was poured.

• 2013 Château Rives-Blanques Blanquette de Limoux Brut 85 Points

  France, Languedoc Roussillon, Languedoc, Blanquette de Limoux

  The bouquet is not very expressive. On the palate apples, citrus and a firm amount of fresh acidity.

  In the bouquet cherries and raspberry yoghurt and some pepper. On the palate the same. Some bell pepper and fairly firm tannin.

  Cherries and raspberry yoghurt in the bouquet. On the palate a sweet start with cherry candy flavor. Some green impressions. Overall a clean wine with light acidity.

  Modest, not very expressive bouquet. On the palate red berries, some bell pepper, some chocolate, good fresh acidity and the wine is in its young maturity stage. Pleasant wine with ok tannin and bitterness. 86 - 87

  Cherries and raspberry yoghurt in the bouquet. On the cherry candy, some pepper and a touch of oak. Some sweetness, mild acidity and tannin. Easy going wine.

  In the bouquet creamy cherries, not extremely expressive, but certainly fresh. On the palate cherries and lactic impressions. Mild acidity and tannin. Maybe wait another year?

  Beautiful bouquet with cherries and raspberries and also some pleasant rustic impressions. On the palate the same. A bit special in a positive way. Clean and juicy with firm red fruit acidity and some licorice in the finish. Ready now and the next few years. 87+
