Some meaty and savoury notes underlying, medium/full bodied, rich flavours, moderate alcohol warm, adequate acidity, m++ length, upfront and elegant under solid strength. A classic Bordeaux! Started fading after 2 hours in decanter, should last longer under its classe and the great vintage, the broken cork seems to hint something wrong with cellar condition. However, it kept nice balance all through even while fading, so charming.

a well structured red wine from Waiheke Island, young and energetic, enjoyable now, also having good potential in cellar. however, there is a little bit more green notes, not matching the greatest vintage 2013, should be perfectly ripe.
