Introduction

5 ways to decline a great variety: Nebbiolo.
A sparkling rosè, a young red, a robust Barolo and then a fortified wine and a grappa....

Flight 1 (3 Notes)

  • NV Germano Ettore Langhe Nebbiolo Rosanna Rosé Brut 87 Points

    Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Langhe DOC

Pale pink, with soft, abundant, fast foam. Persistent and very fine perlage. Crystalline. Gentle and fine at nose: Anis, grapefruit, balsamic herbs and almonds.
Dry, with a vivid acidity, producing a rich salivation and asking for another sip. Shy, nice fruit. High Minerality and almost citric ending.

  • 2016 Germano Ettore Langhe Nebbiolo 84 Points

    Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Langhe DOC

    Pinkish ruby red, crystalline.
Medium intense, medium complex and fine at nose: rosehip, slightly dried up, and fruity: black cherries and glicerin, sweet butter.
Dry, medium rounded, with a good acidity and a young, live tannin, yet already integrated.
Dominant citric acidity on a nice fruit, mineral ending. Not well balanced.

  • 2000 Parusso Barolo Riserva 90 Points

    Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo

Dark garnet red, with orange-brick rim.
Intense, complex and fine at nose: Red oranges, cooked plums, dried flowers and a lot of tertiary: coffee, chocolate powder, dried mushrooms.
    Impressive for richness and cleanliness.
Dry. Lavish, velvety roundness, with evident flashes of acidity. Closing on coffee notes, and still acid imprints.
