• 2013 Seresin Sauvignon Blanc 86 Points

  New Zealand, South Island, Marlborough

  In the bouquet flowers, grasses, citrus and green impressions. On the palate grasses, green apples, pineapple, a firm amount of acidity. Clean and very refreshing wine.

  The bouquet is slightly aromatic and shows white fruits like apples and pears. On the palate grapy, pear drups, firm acidity and a pleasant touch of sweetness. 87 - 88

  Ripe yellow and white fruits and slightly aromatic. On the palate ripe apple and pineapple, good acidity, a touch of sweetness, bitterness, oak and caramel.

  Ripe yellow fruits, some minerals and honey. On the palate yellow fruits, a bit fat, firm acidity and a good length.

  Special and possibly not a 100% fresh. Some cardboard and oxidized impressions, nuts, apple and mild acidity. No score.

  The bouquet is a bit locked, but shows cherries, strawberries and rose hips. On the palate a combination of ripe fruits and firm acidity and fairly mild tannin. Some metal and oak impressions as well.

  This wine is slightly past its peak with oxidized, organic, rust, metal and celery in the bouquet. On the palate still juicy acidity, and again celery and soy. No score.
