  • 2012 Main Divide Pinot Noir Waipara 88 Points

    New Zealand, South Island, Canterbury, Waipara

    The bouquet is a bit locked, but shows cherries, strawberries and rose hips. On the palate a combination of ripe fruits and firm acidity and fairly mild tannin. Some metal and oak impressions as well.

    South Africa, Coastal Region, Stellenbosch, Simonsberg-Stellenbosch

    In the bouquet ripe red berries and cherries. On the palate juicy red berries, ripe strawberries, some cinnamon and coffee. Firm acidity and slightly sticky tannin.

    Spain, Catalunya, Priorat

    Red berries, cherries, garrigue and coconut in the bouquet. On the palate a sweet start, ripe dark berries, ripe cherries, licorice, chocolate, beautiful acidity and round tannin.

    In the bouquet ripe cassis, plums and cherries. On the palate a sweet start, red berries, cherries, herbs and spices. The fruits are very ripe. Ok acidity.

    Beautiful bouquet with garrigue, eucalyptus and well dosed oak. On the palate ripe red and dark berries, a lot of herbs, good acidity, round tannin with some bite and a touch of sweetness in the finish.
