    Not decanted. Medium-dark ruby colour. Pretty nose of black plums, chocolate, caramel, tar, anise/licorice, flowers, and earth. Medium-full bodied, with black cherry, chocolate, black licorice and earth notes on the palate. Good acidity and grip. Moderate finish, ~30-35s, with black plums. Nicely done! Can drink now or cellar for another 3+ years.

    Medium garnet colour. Brooding nose of chocolate, toffee, mint, black plums, and black cherry. Medium-full bodied, with brulee'd sugar, caramel, raisins, black cherry, and black plums. Moderate-long finish, ~35-40s, with dark fruit and earth notes. This is really singing right now.

    Decanted for 2 hours. Medium-ruby colour. Aromas of currant, roses, orange rind, animal fur, red licorice, anise, and alcohol. Medium-bodied, huge acidity, with red fruit. Short finish, ~15-20s, with more red fruit. Very restrained on the palate. This wine needs at least another 3-5 years to come around. 89+ points.

    Not decanted. Poured into shoulder and allowed to breathe for 3 hours. Opaque dark ruby/black colour. Huge nose of vanilla, black cherry, black licorice, and hints of caramel and black plums. Quite brooding. Medium-full bodied, plenty of acidity and tannins. Shows notes of dark fruit and vanilla on the palate. Moderate finish, ~25-30s, with more dark fruit. Needs another 2-3 years in the cellar.
