The theme was in fact Spätburgunder. The host provided all the bottles and put in a few surprises. All wines were tasted fully blind.
The bouquet is rustic with some spiciness, red and dark berries and some oak. On the palate slightly sticky, leather, some, herbs, oak, smoke and some bitterness. Ok acidity. The taste is more impressive than 3 years ago. 85 points for today.

Yeasty bouquet with white fruits and citrus. On the palate white fruits, some minerals, ripe apples, good acidity and nicely dry, but not bone dry. Very ok, but not really special.
