The initial attack has a hint of acidity. Medium stinky cellar nose with a sandy, smooth and dry palate. (T7 B6)
The age seems to have done this wine proud. It is smooth and a light petroleum on the mid palate.
From a magnum) - More powerful that the other Pavilion's tonight. Less acidity and light velvet on the palate.
With some airtime, a beautiful light tobacco nose evolved.
Definitely fuller and richer body that then Pavillions. Sharper acidity and cherry.
Light cellar nose and potato but not corked wet potato. This seems to be far more in its prime that the 2004. Smooth on the palate.
Tobacco and light cinnamon on the nose. Light sandpaper and velvet on the palate.
