Juicy dark plum fruit with lots of spices. Almost like sweet cherry sauce and spiced cake.
Lovely freshness! 94-95p

Very compact fruit that is somewhat "warm" and the alcohol seems to be a bit too dominating.
Some pine and cherries dominate the flavors. Interesting but slightly dominated by the alcohol.

Burnt dirt and quite compact but still with some freshness.
Overall it seems a bit over-ripe and warm in its fruit and the alcohol is dominating slightly.

Amazing power but still quite balanced. Dark and refreshing blackberry fruit with a solid structure.
Very impressive wine. Loved it!

Juicy and fresh with spicy cherry fruit and some orange peel.
Great acidity and it seems to have a lot more to give. Very impressive and should improve with 2-3 more years. 94-95p

Lovely intense and fresh dark fruit with an impressive flavor depth.
Slightly sweet but not in a destructive way. Has some aged flavors of blood, iron and aged meat.
A very impressive wine that I just adored! 96-97p

Boiled and compact fruit with an edge of alcohol dominating it.
Lots of cherry fruit but also a huge acidity, liquor and chocolate.
Clearly not the best JB but still a very solid wine.

Hazelnuts and coffee with fresh red apples. Also some exotic fruits and rye bread.
Lovely wine.

Packed with dark and juicy cherry fruit laced with vanilla and a touch of sweetness.
There is lots of acidity that adds to the freshness which gives the wine a wonderful balance.
Very impressive intensity. Loved it!

Very similar to the JB 13 but with more smooth tannins. There is a crazy intensity but also lots of sweetness which makes the wine very decadent and vulgar.
Still, it is very impressive even though it currently seems to be slightly off balance.

Amazingly pure and fresh cherry fruit with almost some vegetal notes. It "feels" airy and dense at the same time which I feel is a classic touch from SQN.
Highly impressive wine that is simply do die for. Amazing stuff!

Simply put, this is a stunning wine and the intensity is just amazing.
It is very juicy and has a lovely "clean"/refreshing cherry fruit with an incredibly powerful acidity. It is also starting to yield some blood and smoked meat.
Very long acidic aftertaste. A beautiful wine!

Elegant and light cherry fruit with some funky notes to it like stable, barnyard and dirt.
Juicy and long aftertaste and overall just a lovely wine. It does however feel a bit disjointed and messy but still very nice.

Huge acidity and very dry. Still, the are a lot of juicy apple fruit and some vanilla.
It is a very impressive wine that I loved to try. Never really quite figured out if I loved it or not :-) I certainly did like it and were impressed by the structure.

Lovely green apples with a solid acidity. Clean and fresh. Liked it but was not overwhelmed.
