Plenty of ripe apple and lemon cured with hints of licorice, toasted rye and a floral twist. Very good weight, good length and textures. Good already now.
Small glass, brief note. Slightly more berry than orchard fruit I find the Pinot Noir pronounced and enjoyable. Good+ richness and weight, good textures. Maturing nicely, good now.
Small glass, brief note. I can certainly understand why people enjoy this intensely concentrated, rich, ripe wine, but I find it so fat and warm, and correspondingly with little charm or nuance.
Small glass, brief note. Bright fruit but with slightly subdued character. Fairly assertive acidity gave this a slightly off-balance character, but perhaps this needs more time. Others seemed to enjoy this more than I did today.
Small glass, brief note. Charming Cali Chardonnay with plenty of ripe orchard fruit, but enough bright acidity for continued enjoyment over the next few years. Good weight, moderate length.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru
Rich aromatic start with ripe apple, candied citrus peel with plenty of floral and spice support. Same rich start and very good middle weight, then a brighter, more minerally and long finish. In its peak drinking window, but certainly with at least 5 good years going forward.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru
Ripe apple and pear throughout with overall very good balance, good+ length and nuance, good weight. First time ever tasting this wine, and it's not even something I've ever seen. I don't think they get this every vintage. Very happy I bought all that was available.
From 6L bottle. Enticing aromas of mature black fruit, warm earth, sweet spice, faint cigarbox and interesting mint. Surprising depth for the vintage on both nose and palate. Good flavors to start, just slightly bitter/ drying on finish.
Small glass, brief note. Fully mature array of cherries with at least as much earth and earthy spice. Slightly more tired vs some magnums I've had of this wine in the past few years.

Small glass, brief note. Apple, array of lemon, some petrol. Acidity seemed fairly softened for its age, so overall soft textures. Good overall.

Small glass, brief note. Very ripe, quite warm, seeming roasted to me. Not the style of Pinot Noir I enjoy.
