From a magnum. I'm not crazy about this Rose, at least not at this young age. There's a touch of alcohol. It is a big burly Rose. Consistent with previous notes.

This was a lovely Chablis. Not as good as Fevre's version, but still very good. Light, balanced, with salinity and crushed shells.

This is lively and joyful. There is some American oak dill but it is not that significant. Aroma of blackberry and a touch of spice on the end.

THe fruit is still fresh and lively. There is funk, tobacco and leather on the nose. The palate is more lean with a touch of dill and tart berry.

1 hour decant, was that a mistake. This just seemed alcoholic and kind of syrupy tonight. The nose had fresh berry and some vanilla.

acked on to an excessive tasting, but this was a glorious Sauternes, so I'll just stick with 94. I don't see how you could argue that. Fresh, sweet fruit, spice. As good as the last 4.

Positives: Nose is yeasty and toastry. THe palate is very citrusy with some crisp apple and green mango.
Negatives: The palate seems less concentrated and the finish is short. As I noted before, there is almost a carbonated feel to this champagne.
The positives well outweigh the negatives, but they prevent this wine from being stellar.

Bright citrus and lime. This is high toned, chaulky, and a lot of acid. Stylically, I'm not crazy about it, but I'm sure some people are.
