Maria Frumkins terrific pairing menu:

- Roasted seasonal vegetables and farm goat cheeese Lasagna with onion marmalade(OUTSTANDI(NG!!!)
- Pacific Northwest Sockeye salmon filet, poache4d in court bouillon
- Chocolate Fondant
The key insight from this tasting, was that older wines show much more nuance and development than younger wines. Several of the wines were expected to show more, and we'll have to monitor serving temperatures in the future to assure the wines have an fair opportunity to strut there stuff. Given the supriority of the older wines, our next dinner Thursday, December 20th, will be Napa Cab Sauv c dominant wines from the last CENTURY, i.e. 1999 and older, and followed in January by Italian IGT's from the same period.

Deirdre & Richard's wine. Seemed like Smith Bros cherry cough drops to me. Deidre commented that it seemed to have lost something in transit(My Dumol's did too!)

Deirdre & Richard's wine. Similar to the RRV, saccharine. Again Deirdre indicated it had lost something in transit. Perhaps the Bakery was a bit too warm for the wines?
