Pale yellow with tight nose of pear, grapefruit and wet stones. Dry with light body, smooth acid and little tannin. Subtle flavors of lemon and minerals. Long finish, balanced and clean.
Medium straw color, moderate nose of citrus and vanilla (oak). Medium body, with lively/fresh acid. Flavors of apple, vanilla, citrus, soap and minerals. A bit of SweetTart. Decent finish, ok balance, fairly complex.
Medium purple-red color. Moderate aromas of plum and oak. Medium dry, with medium body, smooth acid, and medium soft tannins. Jammy, red fruit bomb, cherry. A little too sweet for me, needs a little more structure and balance.
Deep garnet color, aromas of aged dark fruit and funk. Medium body with fresh acid, and medium astringent tannins. Flavorful plum, tobacco, dried leather and pepper. Complex. Drying tannins. Long tea-like finish. Very interesting.
Deep purple-red color. Aged aromas of plum, blackberry, oak, a little boozy. Medium heavy body, smooth acid and high but soft tannins. Flavorful licorice, plum and oak. Very long finish, great balance and highly complex if a little hot.
