Terrific grower champagne. Aromatic with white fruits, minerals and leesy notes. Palate is lively with fruit, toast, minerals and a distinct nutty flavor. Very polished and forward.
Effusive, rich and laser-focused aromas. Tropical and white fruits, liquid-minerals, flint and honey jump from the glass. Palate is richly textured, yet light and crisp. Great purity and persistence across the mid palate. Very long, full-flavored and refreshing finish. A great chard with balance of all the components --- rich fruit, modest toast, minerality and acidic kick. Very nicely done.
Aromatically off and largely reticent with only alcohol / varnish notes coming through. The palate is more enjoyable with rich fruit and lively acidity nicely married together. Great mouthfeel. Apples, spice and minerals all working together. Palate improves with food (scallops). Very nice save the off nose. I hope the 14.3 abv isn't the issue (which is higher than 13.6 abv on the 05 home block). PUME
Fully mature with complex aromas of leather, mushrooms, herbs and subtle dark fruits. Palate is medium bodied with fruit taking a back seat to earthy notes and lifting acidity. In a good place and an enjoyable 15 year old traditional Syrah.
Nose shows chocolate, dark fruit and liquid mineral aromas. Palate has rich, pure fruit and fine tannin. Well balanced, flavorful and with good length. Excellent if slightly undistinguished. Contrary to my general opinion on Priorat, I can't say this is better than a young Gran Clos or will gain complexity from further aging.
Enjoyed over several weeks. Tremendous concentration and viscosity on the palate. Sweet liquid figs with nuts and spice. Totally delicious and a bargain.
