Blood red with a brown edge. Dark fruits, oak and licorice in the expressive bouquet. Soft tannin, good acidity. Earthy with some liquorice and vanilla. Very good for the vintage. Ready now, but with enough power to last for a few more years.
In fact this is a wine I will remember the rest of my life, although I drank it only twice. Just found one note: Very dark colored. Deep and expressive bouquet with a lot of everything; mostly black fruits, exclusive very well dosed oak, liquorice, vanilla, caramel, earthy tones, etc. etc. All comes back in the taste, where there also is perfect soft tannin with still a lot of promise for the future and pleasant sweetness backed up by good and friendly acidity. Long and complex finish. One of the best wines I tasted up to now.
Purple red; almost black. The bouquet is completely locked but there is cassis and oak. Full bodied. Firm and a lot of tannin. Good acidity, cassis, liquorice and bitterness. A really great and much too young wine. Next try after 5 years.
Fairly light carmine. The bouquet is the most interesting part; red and black (cassis) fruit with a nice dose of oak. The wine is light bodied, although there is some liquorice and sticky tannin and a firm dose of acidity. Good qpr and not too bad for the vintage, but disappointing for the domaine.
Fruits, oak and licorice in the bouquet, needs some time to open up. On the palate full bodied and creamy, some sweetness and good acidity. Firm wine with good acidity and supple tannin and a future of several years.
