Pale lemon, and somewhat green edges. Pronounced mint herbal aromas, white flowers, pear. Acidic, some alcohol sharpness, with flavours of pear, salad leaves, almond, walnuts. The pear fruits carry on to the finish, and somehow shows up with a little more ripeness

Pale lemon hue. Some lemon and nail varnish aromas. Very ripe peach and apple flavours, and somewhat high alcohol. Quite expected of something coming from a warm region, though I’d personally prefer something more elegant

Pale gold. A good bright sense of fruit ripeness, along with some stony mineral feel, and s saline briny hit. Quite a classic ripe Albariño

Medium gold. Has some pretty strong flavours of starfruit and guava, as well as a bit of nutmeg spices, but otherwise pretty green considering some oak treatment has gone into this

Deep gold. Very developed bruised apple flavour, and even somewhat beery and hoppy. The back and finish were strangely rather bitter. Yes it’s an oxidised white wine example, but somehow I felt it lacked the finesse that are shown in the oxidised Chenins from Touraine or Saumur

Pale lemon. Bready briny aromas and a little walnut. A clear lemon zing on the palate, with some fresh acids, brine, bread yeast, and nuts. A pretty pleasant one

Pale tawny. Some savoury and bready aromas, and a good measure of walnuts. The flavours are not as impressive though, with a somewhat sourish lemony development. Not exactly my fave sherry, but at least I guess it’s still classically made

A strong reddish brown hue. Pronounced walnut aromas, toffee, some blue cheese mold, and even a nuance of shells and seaweed. Flavours are mainly briny, seafood, shells, walnut, hazelnut, and even a tinge of soy. A hard and edgy drink, but I do appreciate the complexity. Very persistent nuttiness and woodiness, lasting more than a minute

Deep brown. Aromas somewhat restrained, of hazelnut, coffee and cream. Briny but full of hazelnut and praline flavours, and caramel. Some moldy characters at the back, and a long finish with the moldy fungals, and coffee cream. Soft, and really pleasant

Deep, dark brown, and very thick and syrupy. Strong radishy aromas with a slight hint of raisins and coffee liquor. On the palate, raisins completely dominate, and even shows a somewhat scorched, roasted character. Lots of heat and power. Definitely a hit with sweet wine lovers

Pale ruby, with a starlight brightness, thick legs. Pronounced ripe strawberry jam aromas, and a bit of quince. Acidic, simple with low tannins, but a lot of heat, with ripe strawberry and rocket leaves, and slightly tea-like towards the back. Finish was fair at most

Quite a good ruby depth. Aromas of blackberry, cassis, parsley and mint. Some acids, tannins, sour cherry flavour, cassis, and a twist of slight caramel and butterscotch at the back. Fair length. Pretty nice!

Deep ruby, thick legs and highly extracted. Pronounced rose floral aromas, as well as red cherry, leaf and twigs. Acidic, tannic, high alcohol, mostly red cherry and floral stamen flavours with a back of grass and twigs, and then a bit of caramel. Rather short though

Medium ruby, and a good brightness. Somewhat greenish aromas, of green fern and herbs, on top of blackberry and cherry. Tannic, high alcohol, medium bodied blackberry and cherry flavours, and some rose, and tar. Quite a good classic feel

Pale ruby with fading garnet edges, and a starlight brightness. Very developed nose, with coffee, cocoa, truffles, forest floor, moss aromas. Rounded tannins, some alcohol punch, chocolate, charcuterie, mesquite smokes, and some roses and red cherries show up at the back. Very complex, and a great length. Impressive!

Deep purple, with edges slightly browning and fading. A refined nose, with blackberry and blueberry aromas, as well as olives. Started the palate attack slowly, but quickly gains traction as the blueberry fruits ripen, and then the olives, tea and coffee comes about. Powerful, complex, yet still having a nice freshness. A finish that lasted minutes. Can tell why this wine is so costly. Great one! Very impressed by this

Bright, pale lemon. Some lemon beery aromas. Upfront wheaty and hoppy flavour, like a lemon ale. Simple and straightforward. A good length though
