After work, I drove to Beltramo;s to peruse the wine selection and chanced upon this Tasting of 1989 Cabernet versus 1989 Bordeaux which was a terrific and special tasting event for me.
Fun tasting, wines close in price.
Note that this tasting resulted in my purchase of 4 different vintages of both Viader and Chateau Tayac Cuvee Prestige over the next 2 years.

Nice, dark, brilliant red color in the glass, nose of oak, rich fruit, and sweet fruit, same on the palate, medium/big body, big body, very tasty, rich, sweet fruit, medium/long finish, needs 4 years to peak. My #1 and Group #3. $24.99
