Dark purple in color. Dusty raspberry, black cherry, and touches of vanilla and old wood on the nose. Great structure with noticeable tannins on the palate. Complex, with layers of flavors and tannins on the long finish.

Only three hours of decant time, which is normally not enough for this wine to reach its apex, so will need to revisit it later. There is great concentration of fruit, with a lot of chocolate on the palate.
