    The wine shows medium intensity in the nose, ripe strawberry, a bit spicy, currant.
    Very fresh in palate, toasty, higher acidity than expected, ripe cherry, currant, mild tannins, oaky frame, vegetal bitterness, medium (hot) finish despite being only 12.50% alc

  • 2018 Louis Claude Desvignes Morgon Javernières

    The wine shows bright ruby colour, with medium intensity in the nose, ripe red and black fruit, nutty oaky frame.
    The wine shows nice palate, juicy again, a bit green, medium body, tannins need some, medium finish.
    A bit too fresh for now, but interesting

  • 2018 Sam Vinciullo Shiraz Driveway Shiraz

    The wine is rather funky, earthy, with ripe black cherry and strawberry.
    The wine is full fruity in the palate, showing a few CO2 spikes, funky and gamey, medium acidity and finish.
    Very strange Aussie shiraz

    Beautiful in the nose, full fruity, ripe black fruit, floral notes, violets, very welcoming.
    Quite different in the palate, juicy, black pepper, ripe black cherries, spicy, medium acidity, a bit funky, tasty, thin oak frame, medium finish
    Great quality for price

    The wine is light and floral in the nose, fresh showing ripe red cherries and currants.
    The wine is silky, light, balanced, with smooth mouthfeel, fruity, medium tannins, a bit hot (despite low alcohol), medium finish.

    65% fermented in inox tanks, 35% in oak, stayed 26 months on lees, 3gr RS

    The wine shows brightness, medium intensity, citrus, lime, grapefruit freshness and brioche.
    The wine shows full on intensity, high acidity, citrus, quince, notes of honey, ripe stone fruits, medium body and finish.
    There are oxidative notes, its crunchy and grippy, a high octane champagne. Probably better with food.

    The wine is very floral, showing high intensity, ripe stone fruits, peach and apricot, with a hay-like warmth.
    The palate shows high intensity, high acidity, beautiful, bright and vivid with fresh ripe apricot and peach, thin oak frame, long finish.
    Very different with its tasty orange/bergamot nuances. Closer to Vernay than to other Condrieu wines

    The wine shows high intensity, heavily based on oak/lees treatment, toasty, flinty to the point of near reduction.
    In the palate, the wine shows high acidity and intensity, underripe citrus and lime. Its still very tight, austere, again toasty. The wine needs time to open up. Showing long finish
