Introduction

3 bottles of mature Martray Corton GC

Flight 1 (3 Notes)

  • 1991 Bonneau du Martray Corton 94 Points

France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton Grand Cru

Bottle breathe from 3:30pm, and poured at 6:45pm (c. 3hr 15 min). The wine is fully mature. It offered medium nose with some plum, cedar, dried herbs, with long finishing with plum. It started to open 7:10pm and fired all cylinder in 7:30pm (45 min after serving). Loads of wood, smoke and flower with medium finishing. It continued to do well in the next 45 min. Terrific 30-year old wine at the weaker vintage
