  • 2020 Aivalis Chardonnay

    Greece, Peloponnisos, Nemea

    The grapes come a vineyard in Asprokampos, the wine was matured for 3 months in 50% new French 500lt oak, batonnage done once a day, 4000btl
    The wine shows medium to high intensity, thin oak frame, nutty, buttery, smooth and elegant, ripe peach and apricot, preserved citrus.
    In the palate, the wine follows the same path, full body, medium to high acidity, impressive length.

  • 2021 Aivalis Chardonnay

    Very different to the 2020, citrus, lemon, lemon leaves, the oak is more upfront obviously but the wine feels leaner and more elegant

  • 2020 Aivalis Agiorgitiko Nemea Singe Vineyard Alikiza

    Greece, Peloponnisos, Nemea

    Vineyard located in Alikiza at 650m altitude, 20day fermentation in 5tn inox tanks, matured for 12 months in 500lt French oak 30% new, bottled unfiltered, 14% alcohol

    The wine shows fine ruby colour, fresh red currant, cherries, berries, floral notes, light sweet spices.
    In the palate, the wine shows nice texture, blue fruit notes, medium acidity, the tannins are there a bit grippy but not really aggressive. The wine shows medium body, leaner than expected, medium finish. The tannins add a more dusty/powdery nuance here.
    Taking the entry level Nemea to the extremes

  • 2018 Aivalis Agiorgitiko Monopati

    Greece, Peloponnisos, Nemea

    Vineyard located in Plakes region, stony soil at 550m altitude, 25day fermentation in 5tn inox fermenter with wild yeast, wine matured for 16 months in 500lt French and American oak, wine bottled unfiltered
    The wine is very different in style than previous vintages, it shows more black olive, black fruit, there is also a vegetal note here, tea leaves, licorice
    In the palate, the wine shows the same profile, black tea, black fruit, tight tannins, medium body and medium finish flavored with sweet spices
    Very different in style to older vintages, darker fruit, tighter and olive based.

  • 2019 Aivalis Le Sang de la Pierre Traganes

    Greece, Peloponnisos, Nemea

    25day fermentation in open 5tn inox fermenter with wild yeast, matured for 14 months in new 500lt French oak, bottled unfiltered, 14.5% alcohol
    The wine shows beautiful bright fruit straight away, red and blue fruit, silky floral notes, the oak is nowhere to be found, very elegant
    In the palate, the wine shows a denser profile, the tannins are tight but not angular, more red than black fruit with a few handfuls of blue ones. There is also a touch of tea leaves bitterness, thin oak frame, coffee hints, blue curacao liqueur, long finish
    Very intriguing

  • 2017 Aivalis Deux Dieux

    Greece, Peloponnisos, Nemea

    This is a blend of 50% Syrah and 50% Agiorgitiko, 480m altitude, 50yo vines. The grapes are vinified separately and then blended before bottling, wild yeast, matured in 500lt oak barrels for 25 months, 15% alcohol
    The wine is bright, showing great fruit clarity, black fruits, black olives, licorice, tea leaves, blue fruits, currants, berries and a few black raisins.
    The wine is very elegant in the palate, fresh, black fruit, currants, plums, black olives, medium body, nice acidity, well structured with medium finish
    A wine for the aussie lovers

  • 2018 Aivalis Agiorgitiko 4

    Greece, Peloponnisos, Nemea

    The vineyard is located in the ancient Fliacian field (Kalyvia) at 280m altitude, 150yo vineyard, 45-50days maceration, wild yeast, matured for 16 months in American oak and 20 months in French oak, 15% alcohol, 650 bottles
    The wine shows excellent balance, light blue and black fruit, floral notes, very extrovert, fine-tuned, enticing and a welcoming hint of incense
    In the palate, the wine shows ripe red but mostly black fruit, tight tannins, big but not overwhelming, blue fruit, a touch of alcohol (15%), licorice, full body, long finish

  • 2018 Aivalis Armakas

    Greece, Peloponnisos, Nemea

    This is a blend of 40% Syrah, 35% Agiorgitiko, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 300-600m altitude of vineyards, wild yeast, matured in 500lt French oak
    The wine shows beaufitul ruby/purple colour
    The wine shows ethereal profile, floral notes, light sweet spices, blue fruit, ripe red and black fruit, dense, iron fist in velvet glove.
    In the palate, the wine shows beautiful ripe black fruit, high extraction, ripe blue black fruit, nice balance, nice acidity, great use of oak, long finish
    Quite like a high-end Napa
