Walk around tasting. Ripe apple with a lush start, bright and more elegant middle, concluding with an equally bright and dense finish. Very charming now with clear upside from here. Impressive overall.

Walk around tasting. Sweet black fruit with a good richness maybe slightly hollow now in the middle, but finishing with good power and density. Not fully harmonious, so tough to fairly assess when/ where this will come together.

Walk around tasting. Fun and floral with peach and apple. Seemed slightly lacking energy to me (my tasting colleague begged to differ) so I found this simpler. Lots of good stuff here. 91 points for me today, but certainly 92-93+ if as energetic as others perceived.

Walk around tasting. A real head-turner. Sweet and tart fruit with so much here, even if firmly backward. I felt I had to listen to this wine finish to try to understand it. Requires patience, probably best to cellar until 2028 or later.

Walk around tasting. Clearly firmly background, this is big but awkward today with powerful fruit and structure. Tough to figure out when/ where this will emerge, so a wide range for how much pleasure it will provide, 90-93 points.

2020 Henri et Gilles Buisson Corton-Rognet 92 Points

Walk around tasted. We stopped to taste these after the excellent wines we tasted at the "Mosaic" tasting. Sweet black fruit with very good concentration, Richness, without really seeming ripe, this is ever-so-slightly firm and nearly backward. Very good 92+ point potential, 2027 forward. Exactly the same as when tasted earlier today.

Walk around tasting. Starts off sweet and rich, quickly turns around and nicely brightens. Apple and pear everywhere, good+ textures and length. Will drink well young, 2025 forward.

Walk around tasting. Broad cross-section of orchard and stone fruit on nose and palate, this comes across as so charmingly fun yet bright. Also very well balanced right now. At first I thought this best to drink young, but an expanding finish gives me pause and I think there is the real substance here to be cellarworthy.

Walk around tasting. Orchard and stone fruit, ripe with lots here, but broad and angular, firm and seemingly almost austere. Lots here with very good length, but this needs time to harmonize, better 2028 forward.

Walk around tasting. One of my personal favorites of the tasting. Ripe array of apples with some baked apple, yet certainly easily bright as well. Very good concentration with elegant balance. Lots here now, lots more in reserve for the future.

Walk around tasting. Big, hefty with lots of volume here. Floral with citrus and citrus peel aromas that are elegant and restrained, followed by plump citrus and orchard fruit flavors with very good depth.

Walk around tasting. Perfumed nose comes across as lush, nearly warm. Black fruit flavors are also on the ripe side with firm character in the middle. Slightly awkward now on finish.

Walk around tasting. Very broad array of black and red fruits here, surprisingly accessible and elegant for young Corton. Sneaky power on its longish finish with good+ length. A success in the style of this vintage. I heard this might be the final vintage for this wine.

Walk around tasting. Rich and lush black and blue berries everywhere with floral and spiced aromas. This is fun already now, but with sneaky structure and power that I feel I nearly missed. Good weight now, but I expect this will put on some serious weight with time in the cellar. Moderate tension and energy as well for now, but again lots of potential as it brightens up. 90 points for now, but lots of further upside from here.
