Bright yellow green color; waxy, rich, crystalline mineral, white pepper, weight and richness, alcohol, seems like residual sugar, lots of ripeness, melon, hint of dried pineapple and herbs; really interesting, if I didn't know what this was ahead of time I may have struggled calling this blind but it makes sense.
Dark opaque core with larger garnet rim; dusty nose, tobacco, dark berries, oak that seems sawn, red and black currant, raspberry, herbaceous, dried oregano, clay; Merlot, creamier on the palate, blueberry, structured, good acid and still chewy structure; Bordeaux sensibilities but went to Sonoma Cab right away like a Jordan maybe a Heitz.
Black core with larger reddish violet rim, sediment; chocolate, ripe berries and plums, rich and powerful but Italian, tar, no roses, lots of grip weight and power, dusty, silky tannin from oak influence, nice balance for now, a showier style; called '06 Spinetta Barolo for modern style and oak influence.
Chocolate core with larger brick rim; tobacco, singed herbs, bell pepper, graphite, lots of funk, slight chocolate, cigar box, resolving; in a good spot but this bottle was a recent release and needs more time; really good.
Opaque core with thin reddish violet rim; holly, herbs, violets, restrained jamminess, dusty, volcanic; Napa Cab- called '13/'14 Rivers Marie single vyd Cab- not bad.
USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola - Amity Hills
Light steely green with yellow hues; slight acacia, honey, apple, not flashy, some green fruit, textured, subtle, so young and unevolved but a more promising future though delicious today.
Dark core, opaque with maroon rim; tar, lots of berry, lacks some focus, blackberry and blueberry, smoke, not my favorite and hardly reminds me of Cabernet.

2015 Château Talbot

Cassis, smoke, purple fruit, graphite, powdery tannin, good balance; so young and sweet after the 1995 Gruaud I would have believed this was Napa.
