McKenzie-Mueller Harvest Party

First wine club party. Good event in the new/unfinished tasting room/office/storage building. Fine chicken sausage, ravioli, and cheeses with lively music by TJ Walker. Event treat was 2003 Vin Blanc (Sauvignon Blanc/Muscat) special party bottling with 28 bottles. Crisp, fruity and dry.

2003 Vin Blanc, 2002 Pinot Grigio, 2000/2001 Pinot Noir, 1999 Merlot, 2001 Malbec, 1998/1999/2000 Cabernet Frannc, 1999/2000 Cabernet Sauvignon.

2003 Vin Blanc, 2002 Pinot Grigio, 2000/2001 Pinot Noir, 1999 Merlot, 2001 Malbec, 1998/1999/2000 Cabernet Franc, 1999/2000 Cabernet Sauvignon. All wines showed the master touch of Bob Mueller and the quality of fruit from his Carneros and Oak Knoll vineyards. Full bodied 2002 Pinot Grigio and deep red 1999 Cabernet Franc were especially enjoyable.
