Aromatic, a little brioche and citrus combined; palate is exceptionally balanced, citrus and bready, perfect balance, balanced dosage, mouthfeel is perfect with small bubbles, finish is medium-plus. This is excellent, actually seems ready now. 95

Superb balance, citrus oil nose; palate is medium bodied, balanced medium-plus acidity, nice richness; medium length finish. Very nice village Chassagne. 91-92
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru
Decanted off ~2oz fine sediment after standing for 2 days. Tasted after decanting and after 3 hours. Light ruby with slight garnet bricking; aromatic, red fruited, some spices; palate is light bodied, low tannin, balanced and relatively low alcohol (13.5%), youthful red fruits, slight spice; medium length finish. Well balanced, refreshing, still quite youthful, and overall definitely worth the going price (<$100) for excellent burgundy but lacks the exotic spice and aromatics of a Vosne 1er cru for right now. I wonder whether more time in the cellar will get it there, though I think overall this is more solid burgundy than remarkable burgundy. 91+ Hour 7, with rabbit: this has really opened up and pairs remarkably well. Lovely spice aromatics, absolutely love the acidity. I've gone from mildly disappointed with this bottle to optimistic for its future. Very enjoyable. 92+
Exceptional nose, stemmy, spices, a bit darker fruit; medium bodied, high acidity, plummy and deeper fruit, superb balance, tons of spice and character; medium-long finish. Very nice! 91+
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru
Aromatic, a bit of tertiary mulch, plenty of spice, a bit of five spice; palate is light bodied, high acidity, low alcohol, very nice balance, good length and depth through the midpalate; finish is medium length. 92
375mL. Aromatic, saffron, tons of botrytis; palate is full bodied, sweet but balanced, still young with some oak and vanilla, lovely; long finish. Needs 5-10 more years. 91-93++
