• 2016 Cordero di Montezemolo Barolo Monfalletto 92 Points

  excellent vintage, still very young, IMHO too young to really enjoy, I'd open my next bottle around 2028.
  
  Light transparent ruby.
  Med+ aromas and flavors intensity of red cherries, strawberries, floral, oak-vanilla, fine peppery & herbal spices, hints of cedar, notes of plum associated with fine touches of liquorice, candied fruit, dry, high acidity, high firm tannins, med abv, med body, good complexity, elegant style, long finish,
  can drink now but better age 5-7 years more, at least.

It was a very enjoyable evening, excellent wines, great company and delicious Paella and more
