Introduction
The guild's August dinner "BBQFest" was right up my alley. Great BBQ and wines!
The menu was Watermelon Salad, Fox Bros Famous Brunswick Stew, 24 Hour Smoked D'Artagnan Berkshire Pork, Succotash of Fresh Corn, Sweet Peas and Potatoe Salad. Dessert: Chocolate Temptation Cake

Nice champagne to start the evening. Paired with watermelon and tomatoe app. Light colored and pleasant (easy to drink!)

Brought this one to the guild event from my cellar. Double decanted and immediately back into the bottle (good thing b/c lots of sediment). First pour about an hour and half later. With a few swirls opened up nicely. Typical BDX nose and mouth - really nice. WOTN for me. Great pairing with BBQ pork
