2018 Jada Vineyard Passing By 93 Points

Spicy nose with notes of faint herbs, blackberry and a touch of oak. Med-full body on the palate, decent balance with some chocolate notes on the finish that lingers. All around nice wine. Finished 4 of 6, my 5 of 6.

2018 Daou Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Cabernet "Soul of a Lion" 92 Points

Jammy black fruited nose and some colve menthol element. Finishes jammy too. Nice wine, but not my style. Finished 6 of 6, was my 6 of 6.

Cool dark flavors on the palate. Notes of blackberry, minerals and some matchstick on the nose. Fruit-forward wine, thats well defined on the palate and has wonderful balance. Finished 2 of 6, was my 2 of 6.

2018 Justin Vineyards & Winery Isosceles 93 Points

A bit subdued on the nose to start. Dark fruited, some herbs and some menthol/clove on the nose. The palate is fairly tight, needs some time but the ingredients are all there. Finished 5 of 6, was my 4 of 6.

2014 Law Estate Wines Sagacious 95 Points

Blackberry and menthol on a complex nose. The nose came off a bit funky to start but this blew off fairly quickly. Some chalky tannins filling out on the palate and have a long finish. There's a lot of wine here and it's hitting on all cylinders. Finished 1 of 6, was my 1 of 6.

This wine is young, and needs some time to flesh out. All the elements are there for it to develop into a great wine. Dark jammy nose, very well-rounded bouquet and well balanced on the palate. Finished 3 of 6, was my 3 of 6.
