Almost brown! Not a tonne of sweetness. But really quite emphatic and pruney. I think this is lovely - if not the most vigorous. Showed less well than another G70 tasted ~2 weeks ago.
24hr double decant. Pretty whiffy when first opened, but better after 24 hrs. Quite sweet, but lacking some fruit. More developed than expected; quite transparent and a little bit spirity. Not the best bottle, perhaps.
Wonderful port. Best of all worlds! Translucent ruby. Tiny bit spirity but there's fruit in abundance and lovely tertiary stuff going on too. Lots of life left. Delicious.
Mid ruby. Pretty young/primary still, with some medium tannins. In a slightly funny (but not at all unpleasant!) place; really enjoyable but 20/30 years left in this. A bit better than another bottle ~2 weeks ago.

PnP. Translucent garnet. For me, a bit unbalanced. Not sure that all is right with this, but its perfectly pleasant.

Opened 8hrs prior, decanted 1hr. Dark ruby/purple. Lives up to its monumental reputation. *So* young! Delicious with miles left in the tank.

Menthol-y nose. Quite savoury (un-Warre-like?), with real freshness which is v attractive. This is great, I think!
