    France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Rully 1er Cru

    Chardonnay (100%)
    Traditional Burgundy winemaking, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks and aging in French oak barrels for 12 months
    Notes of hay and ripe stone fruit on the nose of this wine come with a zesty edge of ripe lemon.
    The palate at first continues that citric freshness edged with wood smoke, then fleshes out the body with ripe Mirabelle.
    The finish is dry and a little warm, but lasting and fresh.

    But less than the expected level of a classic Enigma.
