Strawberries and baked bread, crisp, great rose quality. This was very nice.

Drank about 1/3rd of the bottle over an hour. This has a somewhat rounded and elegant profile. It is not at all reminiscent of a New Zealand sauvignon blanc, and I suspect there is at least a little bit of oak in this wine. Quite well done for a domestic SB, although not as interesting as the heavy hitter producers in France.

  • 2014 Saxum Paderewski Vineyard 93 Points

USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles Willow Creek District

Decanted but I regrettably don't know how long, drank about 1/3rd of the bottle over 2 hours. Super heavy and powerful. I'm struggling for more descriptors because it is a big burly beast, although not jammy or sweet and only slightly alcoholic. The wine showcases vanilla oak, big fruit, pepper, sprice, iron and meaty notes.

  • 2011 Graham Porto Vintage 93 Points

    Portugal, Douro, Porto

A small pour from a half bottle. Forward and fruity for sure. Delicious blackberry and boysenberry. Sweet, fruity, liqueurish.
