Nice, red color in the glass, big fruity taste in the mouth, slightly short on fruit but well balanced, needs 3-5 years to peak, long finish.

Nic red color in the glass, better nose than peers today, good fruit in the mouth, medium/big body, nice cab, medium finish.

1990 Groth Cabernet Sauvignon 87 Points

This was a barrel sample. Ripe, forward fruit, Beaujolais like on the nose, nice, ripe fruit in the mouth, lighter taste than I thought should be, nice wine, good wood on the finish.

Brown/red color in the glass, slightly bad taste, too much acid on the finish. Opened for us so not much you can say.
