    1 hour of air at low shoulder.
    High aromas intensity of roasted mature dark fruits, oak-vanilla, typical enjoyable classic BX tertiary notes.
    Fully developed, most likely over its peak.
    Dry, high acidity, med integrated tannins, med abv, full body, med complexity, rich roasted mature dark fruits flavors, still enjoyable but clearly over it peak, over its ideal drinking-window.

    fully developed
    dry, high acidity, high round soft tannins, high abv, full body, very good complexity, rich fruity flavour, well balanced, medium length finish, long pleasant aftertaste.
    Drink now - at peak. Unlikely to further improve with additional aging.
    Bottom line: exceeded our expectations for this wine at this age.

    Pale red brown
    P&P then 2 hours in the glass. develops gradually. requires few hours of decanting.
    med aromas intensity of mature delicate red cherries and strawberries, earth and oak-vanilla notes, cigar-box, roses, truffles and acetone hints.
    dry, high acidity, firm delicate tannins, 14% abv, med-light body, fine & delicate complexity, medium length finish, tannic aftertaste.
    can drink now - suitable for additional 3-6 years of aging.
    10 years after a challenging vintage this Barolo is quite enjoyable vs. the expectations.
