France, Loire Valley, Pays Nantais, Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine
Fully developed profile, citrus and stone fruit, a few coffee notes and spice notes, with some heavier floral notes. Palate shows med body, smokier profile, high acidity, nice texture, salinity, med finish. Interesting
Ripe citrus fruit, flinty, fresh and youthful with a side of it starting to ripen Palate much more youthful, brine, high acidity, a touch warm, med body, mineral, long finish . The wine feels to be in an-in-between phase now
Fresh, vibrant, strawberry notes, currants, some floral notes too, palate shows med body, nice texture, fruit forward, nice tannins, med acidity, med finish. A nice (but pricey) rose
99% Assyrtiko 1% Roditis fox, 800lt clay amporae, 12.50% The wine shows deep yellow color, very fragrant with all sorts of (unlikely for an Assyrtiko) fruit notes, quince, nectarine, mandarin, orange notes, a few oxidative notes. Palate with med body, mineral, high acidity, plenty of tannins, rose water notes, nectarine, med finish. Very different varietal expression, no-one would call this an Assyrtiko, a bit difficult to have on its own. Fans of orange wines would probably like it though
Rose color, highly vile at first, off putting reduction notes, eventually most of it goes away to let some stone fruit breathe, but why wait ? Palate with cherry notes, cranberries, bitter notes, med acidity, med body and finish nope
aged for 12 months in French oak Fragrant, raspberry notes, evident oak notes, quite upfront spice notes, biscuit/vanilla notes. Palate is fresh, copying the nose profile, the oak is more upfront, tannins are there, planky, tight, med finish
This is a blend of Assyrtiko/Sauvignon Blanc/Malagouzia, 12.50% Extrovert, floral, herbal notes, technical correct wine (like all other northern Greek whites) Palate following the same pattern, citrus and herbal notes, med finish Boring
Floral and citrus notes, palate showing med body, med to high acidity, med finish. For a new wine, adding the "cuvee" and "vieilles vignes" words in front of the label, its pretty basic
