A blend of 50% Meunier, 20% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, base vintage 2019 (60%), réserve perpetuelle 40%, disgorged 22 February 2024 with a dosage of 4.8 gr/l. Fruit-driven, generous, spicy, fresh and elegant, harmonious, lively mousse, gentle complexity from the solera reserve.
From the Fuente-Álamo and Albacete zones in Jumilla, Chardonnay vines planted on north-facing high-altitude vineyards (840m a.s.l.) on limestone-sand soils, direct press, spontaneous fermentation and ageing on the lees for 7 months in French oak for seven months. The result is a remarkably fresh wine, Chablis-like but with a character of its own, firm acidity (6.5 gr/l), lemon and apple, lovely tension and harmony, energetic but tranquil, with a nice salinity on th finish.
Made from 100% Juhfark from the Aranyhegy vineyard, basalt soils, spontaneous fermentation and ageing for 10 months in oak, 13.5% ABV. Quite a rich and textural wine with some residual sugar (3.4 gr/l) but acidity to match (5.4 gr/l), honey and apricot flavours, dried fruit and limetree blossom, spicy minerality, good length. Very individualistic and interesting wine.
Delightful Dolcetto, flowers (violet, rose), apricots and cherries, orange, hint of pepper, elegant weight (12.5%), dry and crisp but nicely balanced by the ripeness of the fruit, pure and bright, mild but engaging tannic grip, whiff of cherry stones, juicy bitters, lovely length.
