  • 2007 Silvan Ridge Pinot Gris 87 Points

    USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley

Nice honeyed yellow apple characteristics on a rich nose. A touch of sweetness, but good acidity. Good fruit. A very solid, ripe, Oregeon style pinot gris.

  • 2007 Panther Creek Chardonnay Elton Vineyard 83 Points

USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola - Amity Hills

Unoaked. Not really digging the nose. A weird corny thing going on. Not pleasant. None of that on the palate, which carries a high acidity, with lime and green apples. Not sure about this. 82-84

Flight 3 (2 Notes)

  • 2006 Panther Creek Pinot Noir Shea Vineyard 88 Points

    USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley

Nice spiney acidity. Which works well since the fruit is really ripe. This is very pleasant an enjoyable to drink, but doesn't push to that next level I was hoping for. 87-88

  • 2006 Panther Creek Pinot Noir Freedom Hill Vineyard 89 Points

    USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley

The nose of the night. Very perfumed. The fruit is almost candied, but there are those other PN flavors pushing into this wine that didn't make it into the Shea. Extremely ripe for Oregon, but it pulls it off without seeming hot. 89+
