This is a walkaround event hosted by my favorite local wine shop where they introduce new producers and/or vintages that will be available at their two locations. Specialty distributors / importers set up their tables and pour for clients. Catered by a local restaurant Le Mazet. A portion of the entry fee is donated to a local agricultural education program. One footnote to my notes from this tasting: I am getting over a cold.
Artisan Wines (Importer / Distributor)
This was the third year of the event and the level of quality of wine they offer is always outstanding. I will say that this year there were no wines that knocked me off my feet, but I feel like there were some really interesting and off-the-beaten-path selections that I really appreciated the opportunity to sample.
