"Summer in Italy" Wine Dinner at Capolinea. Paired with a very tasty Prosciutto on brioche. This skin-contact orange wine was too much like a dessert wine for my taste - but it was also bitter. Not a good combo IMO. The wine was actually somehow worse with the food than by itself. I didn't finish the wine. Everyone around me was raving about how good this wine and the next wine in flight were - making me question my palate that evening (however, once the reds (a BDM and a Barbaresco) came which were very nice, made me realize it wasn't my palate - I just didn't like this wine) Brad - heavypourwine.com

"Summer in Italy" Wine Dinner at Capolinea. Paired with a very tasty burrata and berries dish. The wine was served cold. Boozy red fruit on nose. Muted fruit and mouth drying. Tiny amount of fizz. Everybody around me raving about it. I don't get it. I didn't finish the wine. Again, at this point in the dinner, two wines in row that everyone seemed to like but me had me questioning my palate that evening (and again, once the reds (a BDM and a Barbaresco) came which were very nice, made me realize it wasn't my palate - I just didn't like this wine either) Brad - heavypourwine.com

"Summer in Italy" Wine Dinner at Capolinea. Paired with Yogurt Mousse. Very sweet dessert wine. Fizzy lemonade is the best way to describe it. Light and refreshing.
