    This is a big Amarone but not overpowering. Hint of rasins, chocolate and cheeries. A good wine for the money

  • 1997 Fattoria di Fèlsina Berardenga Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia 90 Points

    This wine was a very typical Chianti Classico. It went so good with chocolate brownies that neither of us could stop drinking the wine and eating the brownies. I agree that the finish is gone. The wine did not last that long to let it breath though if it did come around

    This is a killer wine just at it's prime. Drank 2 cases of it while in Argentina. The wine is full bodies and great tanins. Drank every year from 1999 to 2004. The 2003 is great right now maybe a year more in the bottle. The 2001 was 2nd best but mature but very well balanced and is a drink now.

    Deep, dark fruity with figs and choclate. Good Finish - the acidity has tapered down and it a very smooth wine now. Sue's favorite

    This is the best Rose that i have every tasted - not that i'm an expert. Beautfiful color and well balanced. Very dry and crisp. this was great.
