    France, Burgundy, Chablis

    Bright, fruity, green fruit, green apple, flinty freshness, youthful
    Palate is juicy, fruit forward, med acidity, lime, green fruit, med body, rich, med mineral finish. Lacks some depth but fun to drink

  • 2022 David Moret Rully Blanc

    France, Burgundy, Côte Chalonnaise, Rully

    Flinty, oak derived notes, roasted almond, fresh, white fruit, forward, nutty.
    Palate is very precise, nutty, roasted, forward, showing breadth, depth, lime flavoured acidity, very fresh, youthful, long finish

  • 2022 David Moret Chassagne-Montrachet Vieilles Vignes

    France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet

    Subtle, forward, nutty, smoky, the fruit is there but hiding behind the oak.
    The palate shows balance but still heavily based in oak, almond, nutty, riper fruit, lime, green apple, pear, nice acidity, pear infused long finish, full body. Brilliant

  • 2019 Lalikos Mountain Vineyards Omen

    Greece, Macedonia, Kavala

    sampled from magnum via coravin, 1st pour of the bottle
    The wine shows green fruit, grassy, maybe a bit more backward compared to the 750ml bottle (which makes sense) tasted a few days ago.
    Palate is tasty, a touch smoky, green fruit, pear, grassy, med body, nice acidity, maybe needs to find some balance, fresh, med finish, fine frame, almond, some roasted notes in the back.

  • 2021 Aleris wines Agiorgitiko Talisman

    Greece, Peloponnisos, Peloponnese

    sampled from magnum via coravin.
    Very expressive in the nose, fresh ripe blue and black fruit, berries, floral notes, some spices in the back, clove.
    Palate shows tensity, tight, acidity, same fruit profile, a bit less fruit than I remember from the normal bottling, plus missing all the peppery pyrazine notes there too, more straightforward here, needs to open up, a few bitter hints in the middle, long finish

  • 2021 Tavatidis Artisanal Winery Moschomavro

    The shows a very unpleasant profile, no fruiit, only smoke notes plus a heavy herbal cloud over everything.
    Palate with clear oxidation, balsamic notes, med body, low tannins, short finish.
