  • 2022 Comte Senard Bourgogne Blanc Ana

    15yo vines, 12 months in oak (60% French new oak, 40% French 2nd use).
    The wine shows a more typical “Bourgogne” profile, the oak is more upfront, fresh, almond, walnut notes, the white peach lies in the back.
    Palate shows fine oak frame, tensity, nutty profile, white fruit, plush ripe fruit, nice texture, med body, nice balancing acidity, med finish. Crowd pleaser

    Light, fresh, white flesh stone fruit, a touch spicy, palate with green fruit, bitter notes on the fresher side, juicy green apple, pear, leafy, lime, light to med body, med finish. Easy going, to drink on its own

    Whole bunch for this vintage, 14 months French oak (50% new/50% old)
    Juicy, vibrant, freshness, raspberry, cherry, nice spice frame, almond, nutty notes, opens up nicely with time, cinnamon candy, cherry, currant
    Palate with the same profile, nutty, raspberry, toasted notes, light body, cherry, berry, med body, med finish. A nice and juicy red

    Walnut notes, light spicy notes, a few toasted notes adding complexity, there is a certain “dessert-like” sweetness, ripe stone and citrus fruit.
    Palate shows a level of sweetness, peach notes, nice acidity, citrus, mineral, med finish with a tight, tart, quince-like note. A wine for food
