Dennis put together a really nice evening of spanish wines (and older flight and a younger flight) and some wonderful traditional Spanish dishes. All wines blind as usual.

  Full crimson color. Forward interesting nose of briary red friut, cumin, and green pepper - complex. Tastes like it smells. Nice mature red friut with green pepper notes carrying through. A bit chewy and earthy.

  Full crimson color. Medium nose of tighter black/red fruit with some spice and just a slight green note. Tighter black cherry on the palate with some earth and tannin on the finish.

  Full deep crimson color. Medium clean nose of polished black fruit with just a hint of shoe polish? Interesting black raspberry fruit on the attack, but a bit hollow on the mid palate and finished with some dusty tannins.

  Medium full crimson color. MEdium dustyr nose of black /red fruit with a slight coffee and lavendar hint. Nice very spicy ripe black ruit on the palate with a long liquer finish. 93-94 pts.
