Introduction
This was David's Summer Whites on the Rooftop in the heart of the North Loop event. We lost a couple peeps, but we had a nice gathering of ten to enjoy the cooler than expected evening and some lovely wines. Thanks to Dave for hosting us in this easy, perfect summer setting.
2015 Do Ferreiro Albariño Rías Baixas Cepas Vellas 93 Points

Light gold color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. This was the best bottle to date. Saline, zesty, lemon, subtle stone fruits, vigorous, bright and bringy, intense. 93+pts.

2016 Domaine de la Pépière Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine sur lie Vieilles Vignes Clos des Briords 91 Points

Small glass, brief note; flinty and starts out rather flashy with peach and tropical fruit, then gets lean and shows citrus on the palate. Very good.

Light gold color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. Smoke, stone, slate, stone fruits, smoky slate palate, pear, nice dry extract, well balanced. Loved this with some age. 92+pts.

Pale golden color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. Earthy, briny, oyster shell, citrus, garinite, sour lemon, lemon zest, white flowers, long, good cut. This is in fine form, no worries on this for a good 5 years.
