Bright, tight, candied citrus, flinty, youthful fine structure, tonnes of fruit, citrus, flinty, some orange peel, persistent finish. Love it

2021 Domäne Serrig Vogelsang Riesling Grosse Lage
Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
Tight, flinty, full on fruit, finely balanced, toasty, nutty
Palate with same profile, nutty, high acidity, citrus, pear, green apple, mineral, full body, long finish. The oak is powerful now
The wine is a beast and quite difficult to drink now.

palate again powerful, nice balance between fruit and oak, still very youthful, green notes, almond, toasty, full body, long finish.

2022 Domaine de la Chapelle (Caroline Frey) Hermitage La Chapelle

Beautiful, extrovert, haunting, floral and fruity, ripe, ethereal, fine oak frame, palate with power, nice oak frame, a touch warm though, ripe to almost overripe blue berry, cherry, full body, long finish. Give it time.

Give it time but could drink now with extensive decanting

Very elegant, smooth, a beautful herbal /mastic note in the back amongst coffee notes.
Palate is very smooth, ripe cherry, lively acidity, fine bold tannins, a touch warm, full body, elegant, ripe and juicy long finish.
Drinking nicely even now

Bigger and bolder than Nicolas Zapata 2020 tasted before, powerful, overripe, dark chocolate, tonnes of coffee, roasted malt notes (due to a certain biscuit sweetness).
Palate is more even, a touch warm, bold tannins, there is a weird salty/fishy (?) note here, tight tannins, chocolate and coffee notes, tight, youthful, long finish
Give it plenty of time

2021 Viña Cobos Malbec

Really youthful, un-penetrable blue berry core, compact, some dry herbal notes, rosemary (which is interesting), thick oak frame.
Palate is much more refined, fruit forward, nutty, oak frame, tight tannins but not aggressive, red and black fruit, tight bold but well defined, full body and long finish
Much more elegant than feared

2021 Paul Hobbs Cabernet Sauvignon Cristina's Signature Nathan Coombs Estate

Big bold again but less so than Vina Cobos 2021 tasted before, feels more herbal, less extracted, less obvious, a touch thicker frame.
Palate is fruit forward, red fruit, juicy red, raspberry, crunchy, big tannins, full body, showing great finesse (for what it is), long finish.

This shows more red and black fruit, sweet spice notes, mineral core, feels elegant despite its youthfulness, chocolate notes, smoky notes, almond.
Palate is smooth, juicy, red fruit, a touch warm, powerful tight tannins, herbal notes, chocolate notes, red fruit, finesse, grows in the glass with time and air.

the wine shows big powerful nose, bold fruit notes, there is a licorice note here, juicy, some chocolate notes
Palate shows purity, beautiful, herbal, warmth, red ripe fruit, iron fist in velvet glove, trying to be restraint, red cherry notes, very dry tannins, med to full body, long finish. Beautiful
