On the palate, it delivers a shocking, mouthwatering acidity that is out of this world—lemon and sherbet powder. Once the acidity settles, there are flavors of yellow fruit, dough, and a finish with mushroom and umami. Extremely concentrated, with a drying finish.

  • 2018 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Auslese 90 Points

    Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer

    (9/21/2024)

Nose with petro, oil, and lubricants. Some tropical fruit. The palate is first and foremost sweet. Canned pear juice, apricot, and sugar. The wine lacks a bit of acidity to contain the sweet fruit. I have reason to believe this wine will improve with age.
