Introduction
Happily accepted an invite as a guest to "Guys Night Out at Bones". This is a monthly event for a small group of friends that's been going on for ten years. Theme for the evening was "Bring Great Wine" and I was instructed to bring one red and either a white or sparkling. I hope and believe the other six folks enjoyed what I brought (Billecart '08 Elisabeth and VCC '06). I certainly enjoyed the wine, food and company!

Guys Night Out at Bones in Atlanta. I brought this bottle to the dinner. Strawberry notes. Medium Weight. Can't taste any alcohol. Balanced and smooth. Citrus nose. Drinking very well!

2017 Henri Boillot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets 92 Points

Guys Night Out at Bones in Atlanta. Drank next to 2019 Kongsgaard Chardonnay and prior to food being served. Very acidic and a little bitter. Muted nose. Heavy and lovely. Scored both wines the same.

Guys Night Out at Bones in Atlanta. Drank next to 2017 Henri Boillot Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets and prior to food being served. A little oaky. Nutty notes. Muted. Drinking very well. Scored both wines the same.

Guys Night Out at Bones in Atlanta. Paired with beef carpaccio. Typical Burg nose. Really opened up as it warmed. Thick and mouth coating. High acid. Sharp. Lip smacking good!

2014 Once & Future Wine Petite Sirah Palisades Vineyard 92 Points

Guys Night Out at Bones in Atlanta. Great pairing with the bacon on the salad. Dark fruit. Expressive nose and super easy to drink. No alcohol taste. What I thought was super cool about tasting this wine was that I had visited Palisades Vineyard (tasting the inaugural "Palisades Canyon" PS with Steve and Felicia) a few months ago and had never heard about this producer. Will look to acquire some of his wines to do some super fun side-by-sides of PS from the same vineyard in the future.

Guys Night Out at Bones in Atlanta. I brought this bottle to the dinner. Double decanted for about 15 minutes prior to heading to the restaurant. Drank side-by-side with Pichon Laland '04. After 20 mins in the glass absolutely singing. At this point in the evening, my tasting notes starting getting a bit spotty and the socializing and story telling increased! Amazing pairing with the ribeye.
