The nose shows a good dose of baking spices right upfront before leaning into balanced tones of red cherries, plums, raspberries, bright red fruits, roses, violets, fresh herbs, and a Touch of earth notes. There is good depth while showing a lovely tart and red quality to the fruit. The Medium/Full bodied feel shows off the balance of the nose as well as crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium+ tannins. The structure is youthful, yet balanced and not too overbearing. I would love to see where this goes with some age. There is good complexity across the nose and palate that should settle in well with time.

There is excellent balance and fragrance to the nose as it shows off elegant tones of raspberries, plums, baking spices, peppery notes, red cherries, licorice, cinnamon spices, and crushed rocks. There is excellent balance with a refined sensibility to the tones. The Full bodied feel is silky and balanced with the refined sense of the nose as well. The Medium+ acidity is crisp and mouthwatering while the Medium+ tannins are noticeable, yet they don’t dominate. This is gorgeous and a real sexy Pinot overall that should develop well over the next decade.

The nose is fragrant and elegant with balanced tones of raspberries, sour red cherries, plums, bitter chocolate, sassafras, baking spices, roses, herbs, and violets. There is good depth with this showing a lot of poise to go with the elegance. The Medium/Full bodied feel is deft and balanced with crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium+ tannins. The structure still has some youth that will need age to calm down as this feels like it has another gear to give.

The nose is richer and upfront with immediate tones of plum sauce, red cherries, raspberries, licorice, currants, roses, spice notes, and mineral tones. There is decent depth while this has a friendly nature. The Full bodied feel is balanced and upfront with medium acidity and silky, medium tannins. This feels like it is right where it needs to be. That or I just don’t necessarily see it getting demonstrably better from here as the structure is integrated and the tones are fairly friendly and forward.

The nose is fresh and balanced with tones of peaches, green apples, fresh citrus, saline, kumqaut, white fruits, and some acacia flowers. The nose is open-knit and lively, but it lacks depth that would kick it up a level. The Medium bodied feel is deft and fresh with tart, high acidity. This is a very good dry Riesling that shows off nice freshness and balance.

The nose shows some density and richness to the tones of vanilla beans, Meyer lemons, custard, red and green apples, pears, clove spices, and some roasted nuts and biscuity tones. The Full bodied feel shows some richness along with crisp, medium acidity. The feel is textured and balanced, but it lacks some depth and expression. This is a nice Chardonnay, but it comes off a bit foursquare on the nose and palate.

This is a bit blunted by oak notes upon the first whiff of two. With some swirling it pulls back slightly, but is still the dominant tone along with black cherries, black raspberries, licorice, black currants, and some violets. The nose is too oak driven for me as it just isn’t integrated while also coming off as a bit foursquare. The Full bodied feel shows off the oak of the nose along with medium+ acidity and medium tannins that have a little woodsy-ness to them. I don’t really show how the oak will integrate or really improve that much to balance out.

This is also showing to be a bit of an oak-driven nose. It isn’t as overt as the chestnut hill, but it is there with tokes of wood spices, currants, raspberries, etc like, red cherries, red berries, and some violets. There is good depth, but the oak slightly detracts from the rest. The Full bodied feel has some oak-driven richness with medium acidity and silky, tannins. The structure doesn’t show off the wood too much, but it is still there. This possibly could integrate with a few more years of aging and hopefully it will.

The nose is very-driven with tones of strawberries, red cherries, raspberries, sweet plums, red fruits, anisette, licorice, cinnamon spices, and some roses. The nose has a subtlety and nuance to it that I’m really digging while showing good freshness to the fruit. The Medium/full bodied feel is polished and poised with crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins. The structure is fairly integrated, though there is a small bit of youth to it. This may not be meant for long-term aging, but it is quite lovely right now.

The nose is bolder, but balanced with tones of dark red cherries, raspberries, rhubarb, dark red berries, violets, licorice, cola notes, and some baking spices. There is also a hint of alcohol that detracts a bit unfortunately. The Full bodied feel is larger scaled, but well textured with medium acidity and silky, medium+ tannins. The alcohol notes also poke through here and add some warmth to the feel. It’s not boozy, but it does feel a little out of balance. Maybe a few years can smooth out some edges and hopefully have the noticeable alcohol notes recede a bit.

There is good depth with a real lovely elegance to the tones. The Full bodied feel shows the refinement of the nose as well as good depth and balance while possessing crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium+ tannins. The structure has some youth, but it isn’t too overpowering. This feels like it has another gear it can hit after a few more years of aging, but there is a lot to like right now.

The nose is upfront and friendly with rupee tones of plums, black cherries, ripe red berries, allspice, roses, crushed rocks, and some earth notes. This lacks a slight bit of depth and has a puppy dog-like quality to the tones. The Full bodied feel is plush and forward with medium acidity and silky, medium tannins. This is wide open to drink now. The structure is well balanced and the tones are upfront across the nose and palate. The 2018 vintage is a warmer, riper vintage and this shows that off without being overdone.

Oh wow, this is really perfumed and hi-toned with fresh tones of red cherries, strawberries, red fruits, fresh picked berries, spice notes, dusty notes, rose petals, and some fresh herbs. There is excellent depth with a real seamlessness to the tones that makes this a joy to smell. The Full bodied feel is fresh, polished, and balanced with crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins. This is just lovely and a Pinot that makes me take notice. This is so gorgeous right now that it would be hard to keep my hands off of it if I had bottles.

The nose somehow manages to play into two camps of Chardonnay. The one that sees some marshmallow and the other that works with reduction. While I won’t say that it’s a perfect marriage, it does create an intriguing profile with tones of vanilla and creamy notes upfront that give way to Meyer lemons, red apples, kumqaut, orange peels, some reduction notes, and a bit of salinity to boot. The Full bodied feel is deft and balanced with crisp, medium+ acidity that leads into a lingering, saline finish. The nose and palate are fairly complete while the structure is showing off good integration. This is pretty good right now and actually feels like it’s in its wheelhouse.

The nose is balanced and aromatic with orange peels, lemon curds, peaches, vanilla beans, Bosc pears, red apples, almonds, jasmine, some biscuits, and a touch of cinnamon spices. While there is very good complexity, all of the tones don’t dig too deep. The Medium/Full bodied feel is balanced with crisp, medium+ acidity. The acidity is fresh and vibrant, but isn’t close to being too much. This is lovely right now and it will age gracefully for the next 5+ years.

There is good depth with a lovely open-knit style that is attractive. The Medium bodied feel is balanced and refined with crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins. This shows off the depth and freshness of the nose as well while the structure has some youth, but is quite friendly. While I’m more than certain this will age well, it is showing a whole lot to like already.

The nose is perfumed, bright, and elegant with layered tones of rhubarb, pomegranate, red cherries, strawberries, cloves spices, petrichor, violets, and fresh herbs. There is a lot of expression to the fruit while showing a headiness to the tones as well. The Medium bodied feel is fresh and expressive with tart, medium+ acidity and silky, medium+ tannins that also show off some youth. This is gorgeous already and there is plenty of room for it to grow. If this is able to hit another gear, it’ll be an absolute knockout!

The Medium/Full bodied feel is balanced and fresh with crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins. This is fun, vibrant, and an excellent introductory Pinot from Winderlea.

The nose is higher toned but it lacks a little depth. The Medium bodied feel is balanced and poised with tart, medium+ acidity and refined, medium tannins. This is lovely and balanced with everything in its right place. This falls in the drink it if you’ve got it category as it doesn’t feel like a long aging wine.

The nose is a little coiled up, but there is a heap of lovely with balanced and fresh tones of limes, Meyer lemons, pears, peaches, apples, vanilla beans, some salty notes and white flowers. There is excellent depth while the tones show off excellent energy. The Medium bodied feel is deft and balanced with electric, high acidity that has a bit of sting. This is clearly extremely young and shows off a lot of vibrancy. I would love to see where this goes with a few years of aging.

There is excellent balance with this showing off a lot of freshness. The Medium bodied feel is lithe and fresh with racy and noticeable, high acidity. The acidity is sharp, youthful, and in clear need of some again to round out some rough edges.

The Medium bodied feel is deft, deep, and balanced with racy, high acidity that has a lot of cut. While this will certainly benefit from aging, it’s also really friggin good right now! It’s clearly youthful and with room to grow, but it is starting from a real strong spot.

The nose is extremely expressive and vibrant with a real panache to the tones. The Medium bodied feel is fresh, vibrant, and balanced with crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium+ tannins that have some clear youth. This possesses a lot of great underlying material while the structure shows youth without being oppressive. This is really good now and feels like it can absolutely blossom with some age.

This is lovely and so balanced across the nose and palate. The structure shows a youthful side, though it isn’t too overpowering. I can see this really blooming with a few more years of age and lasting for a while after that.

The nose is balanced and defined with tones of warm dough, red apples, biscuits, pears, quince, baking spices, yellow flowers, peaches, and white fruits. There is good complexity and interplay between the citrus and autolytics, but the tones are more surface than anything showing real depth. The Medium bodied feel is balanced with crisp, medium+ acidity. This is a very good Bubbly from Roco, but it’s one to drink fairly soon.

The nose is upfront and giving with tones of quince, red apples, vanilla beans, biscuits, roasted nuts, brioche, warm dough, and some nougat. This shows a lot more autolytic qualities than the 17, but with a similar level of depth. The Medium bodied feel is deft and balanced with crisp, medium+ acidity. As with the 17, this does lack some depth that would make it a much stronger wine. This one does lean more into the autolytics, though it should be drunk more in the near term.

This is pretty and aromatic with excellent melding of Citrus and autolytics, though it does lack some depth. The Medium bodied feel is deft and balanced with tart, high acidity that is mouthwatering. This likely could develop a little bit, but it does lack some depth that would kick it up a level.

This is completely blunted by oak from the get go. This is larger scaled and rich with black cherries, licorice, black raspberries, currants, liqueur notes, and wood spices. The nose is just too extracted and oaky for me as it hides the other notes. The Full bodied feel is rough and showing off the same amount of oak and extraction of the nose with medium acidity as well as chewy and woody, medium tannins. This feels forced and too overdone on both the nose and palate. I’m not sure how much time will smooth this out or integrate it all.

There is good depth with this showing an open-knit quality that is quite attractive. The Medium/full bodied feel is balanced and open-knit with crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins. This is lovely and lush with an upfront style that works well. This could likely use a few years to round out some edges, but it’s really sexy right now.

The nose is pure and perfumed with succulent and balanced tones of plums, red cherries, raspberries, red berries, creamy red fruits, spice cake, currants, and some red flowers. There is good depth with this showing a seamless style that is downright pretty. The Medium bodied feel is well balanced and pure with crisp, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins. This is a real sexy Pinot from Flaneur. It shows excellent purity across the nose and palate and I can see it developing nicely over the next few years.

The nose is plush and balanced with lovely tones of plums, pomegranate, red cherries, raspberries, currants, peppery notes, red flowers, rose petals, and some baking spice notes. The Medium/Full bodied feel is suave and plush with a touch of oak poking in there. The Medium acidity is fresh and the Medium+ tannins are showing some youth though they are far from punishing. This is pretty sexy, though I’m not sure how much of a step up from the Flanerie it truly is. Though I can see it developing well with some age.

The nose is well balanced and refined with fresh tones of lemon peels, navel oranges, pears, peach blossoms, apples, and some custard notes. This shows off excellent complexity for what is effectively an “entry level” Chardonnay. The Medium/full bodied feel is deft and balanced with crisp, medium+ acidity that really persists. As I mentioned above, this shows so much for an entry-level wine. I really enjoy what Lingua Franca does and its wines like this that really prove that. I would love to see where this goes with a bit of age.

The nose is crystalline and fresh with well balanced tones of pears, apples, quince, lemon peels, vanilla beans, white flowers, jasmine, and some cinnamon spice notes. There is excellent depth with an open-knit style that is quite enticing. The Medium/full bodied feel is deftly balanced and poised with tart, medium+ acidity that makes your mouth water. This is just lovely already and I would really like to see where it goes with some age. Everything is in place for this to really blossom as it is extremely enjoyable even now.

The nose is lifted and fresh with balanced tones of apples, nectarines, quince, pears, acacia flowers, flinty notes, saline, and spring florals. This is very spring-like and with excellent depth that shows off a seamless quality. The Medium/Full bodied feel is textured and silky with racy, high acidity that has some noticeable bite right now. The acidity is showing a good bit of youth right now and will likely require a few years for this to fully come into form.

This is a nose that lets you get lost in the glass as it just exudes class and elegance. The Full bodied feel is polished and balanced with crisp, medium+ acidity. This is fantastic right now and with definite room to improve with some age as there is some baby fat that can be shed.

The tones are friendly and upfront, but they lack a bit of depth. The Medium bodied feel is well balanced and forward with crisp, medium+ acidity and slightly coarse, medium+ tannins. This is very good for what it is. It’s an entry-level Pinot from Lingua Franca and does provide a good value in the $30 range, though it lacks some intrigue.

There is good depth and expression as this really leans into the vibrancy of the fruit. The Full bodied feel shows off the vibrancy and depth of the nose with tart, medium+ acidity and youthful, medium+ tannins. This is young, but also really darned good. I love the expressiveness of the fruit across the nose and palate already even with it being on the young side.

This is extremely perfumed and borderline intoxicating with flowing tones of red fruits, berries, raspberries, red cherries, currants, rose petals, spice notes, violets, and a touch of earth tones. There is so much depth and poise here that it is hard to take my nose out of the glass. The Medium/full bodied feel is silky and refined with tart, medium+ acidity and fresh, medium+ tannins that have a bit of grip. If this is this good now, I can only imagine what it may do with some age. This is just flat out gorgeous and a truly wonderful wine.
