France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
From 375 ml bottle. Rich apple and caramel apple with buttered popcorn. On the mature side for 2014, but expected given its format. Still bright enough on its finish.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
Bright and taut with both ripe and lean orchard fruit. And so much energy. Air was this wine’s friend tonight, as it got longer and brighter with more time in glass. Great now with further possible upside.
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru
Charming black and red berries start-to-finish with faint spice and game support, but lots of elegant structure and balance. Ferrous and minerally, this always stays charming and fruit-centric, finishing with good intensity. There might be some slight upside here, but it is at a wonderful place right now.

Ripe apple and baked apple throughout with sweet spices. Good+ weight. Rich and certainly enjoyable but much more advanced than it should be.

A little tired. A little dirty, quite possibly a little corked.
