2023 Stefano Amerighi Syrah Rosa
Italy, Tuscany, Toscana IGT
Provence color, floral notes, peach, apricot, shows density, some herbal notes.
Palate with a lot of fruit, peach, stone fruit, shows red fruit, med body, shows tannins, med finish.

2021 Stefano Amerighi Syrah Cortona
Italy, Tuscany, Cortona
The wine shows high intensity, spice ntoes, fresh black fruit, a touch mineral, violet.
Palate shows nice tannins, ripe black fruit, med body, a touch grippy, youthful, a bit brett/iodine but not aggressively so, med finish

2020 Stefano Amerighi Cortona Apice

The oldest vines, more oak, 13.50%
The wine is much thicker, ripe fruit, lots of floral notes, firm spice notes, the oak frame is there enclosing all the fruit, decadent, opulent, welcoming.
The palate is more tense, elevated acidity, more red fruit, med to full body, fine grained tannins, persistent finish.
Outstanding quality, it could use some time

Tight, citrus, yeast, clean notes, grapefruit, bread and sesame notes.
Nice carbonation, med body, same flavours, some lime/lemon notes, green apple, finely balanced between oxidation and fruit notes, med finish

Ethereal nose, typical Grenache profile, floral notes, spicy, red fruit, cranberry.
Palate with full on red fruit, feels plush, huge juicy bomb but in a great way, nice edgy and firm tannins, elegant acidity offering freshness, great mouthfeel, a few bitter notes, long finish

Lean, red fruit, bitter herbal notes, some oak notes covering the fruit.
Palate with more freshness than the nose, juicy youthful red fruit, cherry, acidity and tight tannins (for a Pinot), some oak notes (almost plank), med finish

Gamey at first, very ripe red fruit, some floral notes, very dense, thick, youthful.
Palate follows the same pattern, slight gamey, tannins, purity of red fruit, med body, med finish.
Give it time, air and food next to it

35yo foudre and oak for 10 months, 13%
Fresh, youthful, ripe citrus fruit, some herbal notes, grapefruit, pear, green apples, white spice notes.
Palate is juicy, fresh, lime, grapefruit, shows strength, power but with a nice fresh lift, leaf notes, high acidity, med to long finish.
Beautiful, could be a nice way to enter the "Jura world"

Palate with again lively acidity, lime, lemon, grapefruit notes, med body, leaner than expected, citrus, grapefruit, some bitterness, yeast, nutty, walnut, amond, long finish

Full on buttery, vanilla notes, sweet spice notes, hazelnut, high intensity, walnut, there is again a heavy note like the "les molates 2023"
Palate shows full body, vanilla, buttery notes, full on nutty, hazelnut, high acidity, tight, tense, mineral, broad shouldered, long finish. Extremely youthful
