Flight 1 (2 Notes)

  • 2009 Domaine Potinet-Ampeau Bourgogne-Aligoté 91 Points

    France, Burgundy, Bourgogne-Aligoté

Beautifully developed aromas, ripe and vinous tending towards buttery and nutty but clear and pure, nothing off or tired; juicy and soft palate, ripe citrus, perfectly intact structure, some salty and savoury notes; lemon curd and blonde caramel finish, good resonance and length.

  • 2020 Armand Heitz Juliénas 92 Points

    France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Juliénas

Harvested 10 September 2020, 100% whole bunch, récolte du domaine, 5992 bottles produced. Energetic and fresh, big and ripe, stemmy pepperiness, huge weight (15% ABV) but the balance and acidity are there, flowers (rose, violet) and fleshy fruit (cherry, peach), warm spices, comfortable finish with very good length.
